There are over 6 million citizens of California without
health insurance. This needs to change with a
responsible plan to cover everyone with out coverage now
and to reduce the costs to working families today and in
the future

Protecting our Environment is a top priority and we need
to continue working on the implementation of legislation
to fight global warming. Reducing the harmful effects of
climate change should be a priority for the State.

Making college affordable for all is a top goal for me. As
someone who had to work while going to school, I know
that being a working student can be hard. Affording a
college education is getting harder and harder, we must
make college more affordable.

with all sectors and industries to help foster green
development in California. With the passage of AB 32

Sacramento is at a crossroads when it comes to
addressing transportation issues. If we plan smart
growth and expand our mass transit options we can
relieve congestion in our communities. We need to
focus our precious transportation funds on projects that
get results.

We need to support our State workers to empower
them to be the best trained, most efficient and highly
dedicated employees in the country. By supporting our
State workers the taxpayers of California get the most
out of their tax dollars.

Our State budget is a mess. I support common sense
solutions to address our shortfalls. We need to ensure
we pass a fair budget that does not impact our kids,
schools, seniors and other sensitive populations. I
believe by working together we can craft a budget thats
fair to everyone.
